Summary

Ahead Group is seeking a Cloud Architect for a global IT consulting and engineering firm. The successful candidate will lead architecture design and system development for Guidewire Cloud projects, ensuring seamless delivery while supporting project and delivery teams. This role is ideal for an experienced architect with a strong foundation in cloud-based systems, stakeholder management, and solution delivery within the insurance or financial services sectors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end system development process for Guidewire Cloud projects

• Design and implement scalable cloud-based system architectures

• Identify and resolve systemic challenges while managing project risks

• Provide technical and analytical support to cross-functional teams

• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to resolve customer issues

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience delivering IT projects for Japanese clients (vendor-side)

• Proven ability in stakeholder management and communication

• Strong understanding of system architecture and design methodologies

• Ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural team environments

• Native-level Japanese language proficiency

Desired Skills

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry

• PMP certification with Agile or Lean delivery experience

• Guidewire Cloud implementation experience

• 3+ years of experience with AWS or Azure and system integration

• English proficiency (business level) or Chinese language ability (preferred)
