A managed service (マネージドサービス) is a model where a company outsources a specific function or operation to a provider who assumes responsibility for delivery, performance, and ongoing management under a defined scope and service level.

What is dispatch (派遣, haken)?

Dispatch, or haken (派遣), is a staffing model in which employees of a dispatch company are assigned to work at a client company under that client’s direction.

What is gyōmu-itaku (業務委託)?

Gyōmu-itaku (業務委託) is a form of outsourced contracting where work is delivered based on defined outputs rather than labor. Workers are not under the client’s direction. No special license is required for gyōmu-itaku, but the work must be structured to avoid “disguised dispatch.”
