A global asset management firm is looking for a Technical Desktop Support Associate to join its Tokyo-based team.

What You'll Do

• Provide desktop support for Windows environments, Microsoft Office, VMware, and end-user devices
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and access requests
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across laptops, mobile devices, printers, and video conferencing systems
• Deploy, image, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Track incidents through ticketing systems and maintain clear technical documentation
• Support IT projects, including Windows 11 upgrades and cloud-based VDI migration
• Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with hardware and software procurement
• Collaborate with global IT teams and provide occasional after-hours support when required

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on desktop support or IT helpdesk experience
• Business-level Japanese and strong English communication skills
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, AWS, CrowdStrike, and Nexthink
• Experience with device imaging, lifecycle management, and IT asset management
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills
• Experience working in a multinational environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Technical certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Networking, Cybersecurity, etc.)
• Project Management or other relevant professional certifications
