Summary

Ahead Group is looking for a Network Solution Engineer to support a global enterprise client in the insurance services sector. The ideal candidate will design and propose secure, scalable network solutions, working closely with internal stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into robust network architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical expertise across enterprise networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and core protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF)

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and delivery partners to gather requirements and define network solutions

• Develop high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), network architecture diagrams, and detailed configuration documentation

• Design and propose network solutions, including topology design, hardware selection, and migration or upgrade strategies

• Support technical reviews, solution walkthroughs, and validation activities to ensure feasibility and alignment with requirements

• Create detailed implementation plans, rollout procedures, and cutover or migration strategies

• Ensure network designs meet security, scalability, resiliency, and regulatory compliance standards

• Act as a technical bridge between pre-sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution

Required Skills

• Strong enterprise networking expertise, equivalent to CCIE-level knowledge

• Hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewall, and SD-WAN technologies

• Solid understanding of network design principles and architecture documentation

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical network solutions

• Strong communication skills for stakeholder-facing and cross-functional collaboration

Desired Skills

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments

• Background in solution engineering or design-focused network roles

• Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in regulated industries

• Experience supporting network migrations, upgrades, and complex cutovers
